Working alongside the incredible Ndebele women who bring this art to life, I've seen firsthand how this project has created a sense of pride and empowerment within the community. By embracing their cultural heritage, these artists have not only preserved a vital tradition but have also found new opportunities to support themselves and their families through their craft.

Their resilience and dedication have inspired me to see the power of design as a conduit for cultural elevation. In witnessing how Pearl Jam has positively impacted their lives, I’m reminded of the importance of creating more avenues where people can find both economic and emotional fulfillment through their heritage.
