VISIBILITY THROUGH DESIGN
"Visibility Through Design" is a sessional course taught by Nicole Nomsa Moyo, at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto. The course examines how design can be a powerful tool for enhancing visibility, representation, and inclusivity in the built environment. Through studies in architecture, urban planning, and community engagement, students learn to design spaces that celebrate diversity, prioritize accessibility, and foster a sense of belonging. Emphasizing design’s role in amplifying underrepresented voices, the course encourages students to approach projects with empathy, innovation, and a commitment to social impact.
